US Subs - demo dive in Puget Sound
Follow a newspaper reporter on a shallow dive aboard U.S. Submarine's S-101, a small submersible the company has purchased for demo dives. The company is based in western Washington and the dive took place in Puget Sound offshore from Seattle.
The S-101 was built by Marlin Submarines of Plymouth, England. Marlin is building submarines that at least outwardly look like the vessels that U.S. Submarines is designing. Marlin could be the builder for an order placed through U.S. Subs.
It's a nice little article with little technical info but you can fill in the gaps by checking out the U.S. Subs and Marlin websites. I couldn't find anything online about Olympic Submarine Technologies of Shelton, Washington but they are reportedly building a 40ft submarine for Seattle billionaire Paul Allen.
